Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti – Baby

“Ariel Pink’s Haunted Graffiti has confirmed that the previously discussed follow-up to 2010′s Before Today will be released on August 21 in the U.S., and August 20 in the UK, via 4AD. Mature Themes is apparently the record Ariel Rosenberg “wanted to make back when I made Before Today, but couldn’t due to pressures and different factors,” he told Spin recently.
You can hear “Baby” from the record now; it’s a fairly faithful cover of a Donnie and Joe Emerson song from their 1979 album, Dreamin’ Wild, on Enterprise and Co Records, and features either Rosenberg or guest vocalist Dâm-Funk crooning “ooh baby” in a way that more than justifies the LP’s title. The song will be released on July 9 as a limited one-sided 12.” (Source: Pitchfork)
