She is the mysterious beauty who first came on the scene as Kanye West’s “beautiful alien girlfriend” a few years ago. She has since broken up with West and continued on to be a style trailblazer. Her style is hard to define in one genre, but one thing’s for sure, she’s unapologetically bold, and I approve.
Anyone who knows me knows that I love this woman. I will stand by the notion that anyone who is able to shave their head and still look this good is putting in serious work. The thing I appreciate about Rose’s style is that its not only bold, but it’s attainable for the “average person”. I say person because even though this is more geared towards the ladies, there is some stuff us guys can take away too.
First, we’ll start off with an easy take away…
Sunglasses- There is rarely a time that you will see Amber Rose without a dope pair of sunglasses on. The power of sunglasses is so underrated. It shields your eyes, accessorizes an outfit, and protects you… and shields you from rough early mornings and lingering hangovers. Invest my friends.
Now to the stuff that takes more thought…
Dressing with Purpose- Now I have seen Amber wear some crazy things, but one thing that she does that many people should try is dressing with purpose. By this, I mean when she steps out, whether wearing a Viking hat (she’s done it) or a ball gown, she looks like it was intentional, purposeful and ultimately she owns it. So much of style is not about imitating, it’s about owning what you have on, and that she does.

Make it Memorable - One adjective that she’ll probably never hear is that she’s forgettable. For her, her striking beauty and baldhead would probably make that a hard statement to utter about her. I am not saying dye and cut your hair, but find something about your appearance that doesn’t just let you blend in. If you don’t have something already, create it. Dye your hair, take bold style risks, smile more, whatever it takes for you not be deemed as just another face. Let’s be real, no one wants to be just another face.
